Making anything more intrusive than what VAC already does is silly though, not just for privacy reasons - but for security reasons. What those services do offer, is great and it's good that there is space for the more diehards to play with more likeminded people, on 128 tick servers (which 50% of the playerbase still can't run), and that they can make money of this and in return provide a (pay)wall and spend some of that to developer their anti-cheat. VAC is already client-sided, just because you've to install a seperate program (hint: because it's a third party) doesn't mean VAC isn't doing it. VAC bans a pletora more cheats and cheaters than FaceIT and ESEA ever could, and they therefor only have to focus on the few that are undetected. That's a fact, you can do your research but the basic 'VAC proof cheat' will most likely get detected by instrusive anti-cheat like faceit, ESEA, EAC. I didn't say there was no cheaters in faceit, there is cheaters but they get detected way faster as soon as they start using the faceit client sided AC.
